A small Rockingham oblong basket with indented sides and having rustic crossed-twig handle. Applied with two flower sprays coloured in enamels, with seaweed gilding and painted with a further bouquet and two sprays. Printed puce griffin mark c.1830-42, 12.75cm.

Slight losses to the applied work. The flower painting looks to be a later addition.
