A Rockingham Neo-Rococo part tea service of three spur handle type with crown finials. Decorated with grey and gilt scrolls embellished with green enamel berries. Comprising teapot and cover, sucrier and cover, cream jug, teacup, coffee cup and two saucers. Pattern 1426, printed puce griffin marks c.1830-42. Teapot 18.5cm. Notes; the crown moulded finials are Thomas Brameld's signal to his would be customers that his factory had Royal Patronage, affirmed by the words Manufacturers to the King inscribed below the factory mark.
