A Chinese Kangxi (1662-1722) blue and white Phoenix dish. Painted in underglaze blue with a pair of stylised birds on a ground of cloud scrolls under two pairs of concentric rings. Six character Kangxi reign mark to the reverse under a border of phoenix in flight, 22.25cm diameter.

No chips, cracks or repair. Textured orange peel type glaze.
